Web Support provides thousands of service hours, 10 years strong

A decade ago, Trinity.edu got a makeover (though not the one you see today). With it came a dedicated support system and support managers to address needs on Trinity’s myriad web platforms.

Today, that support system is 10,000 tickets stronger, thanks to the many folks in the Trinity community who write in with questions, seek site building help, or bring issues to the team’s attention. The first two tickets submitted were by Dominique Avery, former compliance and data integrity specialist with Human Resources, who requested an update to the University’s organizational charts; and Cabral Balreira, Ph.D., professor and chair of the Department of Mathematics, who requested an update to his online directory profile. And lucky (ticket) number 10,000 just so happened to go to…

… Balreira himself!* Ticket #10,000 came with prize winnings of a flimsy golden ticket, a new car**, and 30 seconds grabbing anything he wanted from SCM’s swag closet.

Balreira is just one of many faculty and staff members in the Trinity community who knows that emailing web-request@hong2274.com is the most efficient way to get web support for Trinity.edu platforms.

Opening a ticket through web-request@hong2274.com allows you to:

Keep on sending in your web updates—and the web support team will be bringing you your very own golden ticket in no time!

*disclaimer: Cabral may have the same last name as someone else in SCM,  and he may have won golden ticket #3000 in 2017, but neither of these coincidences influenced the winning of this golden ticket.

**The new car was a still-in-box non-limited-edition 2023 Hot Wheels racer. His children are bound to enjoy it!
